Why In Montréal?

Considered Canada’s cultural capital, Montréal is one of North America’s most uniquely beautiful cities. Many visitors to the city feel it is perhaps one of the safest, yet most vibrant and innovative urban centers they’ve ever been to, with an exciting array of multi-cultural events, Arts and culinary adventures.

Venue

The Conference will be held at the distinguished Hyatt Regency Hotel, situated in the strategically located Complexe Desjardins, the best setting in town to appreciate the amazing diversity of the city’s festival season.

The Hyatt is in front of Place des Arts, a cool multipurpose cultural complex in the heart of Montreal’s entertainment district that serves as one of Canada’s major cultural hubs.

It offers a wide variety of artistic events year-round and includes the Maisonneuve and Jean Duceppe theaters, as well as the Symphony House, home of the highly-acclaimed Montréal Symphony Orchestra.

The Hyatt Regency Hotel overlooks Montreal’s main festival area so you are only minutes away from the not-to be-missed cultural action.

The chic and contemporary hotel offers direct underground access to the Place Desjardin Shopping Mall, Palais des Congrès convention center, as well as Chinatown, Old Montreal, Place des Arts, and the Metro Subway system.

Traveling on a budget?

Montréal is a lower-cost city so you can attend the conference even if you have a limited budget. The downtown area has some very affordable hotels and, for the young-at-heart, a few cool and inexpensive hostels offering individual rooms or dorms. During the summer, cheaper lodging tends to become unavailable fast so make sure you make your reservations as early as possible.
